God’s way is God’s wisdom, and the bible is the wisdom of God.
There are two kingdoms: The kingdom of Light, and the kingdom of Darkness, there is no neutral kingdom.
From inception, there was one kingdom, but as soon as the devil rebelled against God, the kingdom of darkness was birth…
Queens of the Kingdom ministry belongs to kingdom of LIGHT. All our teachings are from the word of God, the Bible.
The Bible reference used in this newsletter is King James Version. We teach about the great examples and women of the bible, their self-portrait, how God changed and transformed their lives, and their contribution to society. We teach biblical principles and laws to help women change their thoughts using God’s word. The word of God is the only thing that has the capacity to change anyone because His words are spirit and life – John 6:63 says”It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.“John
His word also says in Hosea 4:6 “my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” Your change is proportionate to your knowledge of the truth.
What is Self Portrait? Self Portrait is self-image, your mental picture of yourself. It is the Idea one has of one’s abilities, appearance and personality. It is the way you think and view yourself.
God revealed to me as I studied his word that woman lost their godly Self Portrait right from Genesis at the garden of Eden, when Eve sinned.
God cursed her in Gen 3:16 “unto the woman he said I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow, thou shalt bring forth children and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
What is Sorrow? Sorrow is a feeling of deep distress caused by loss, disappointment, or other misfortune suffered by oneself or others. It is a mental suffering caused by loss of someone or something. Again, sorrow is an emotion, grieve or sentiment caused by disappointment. It is a long-term state. We can say sorrow is pain of the mind produced by loss and painful toil. It is a mental problem. Eve lost the presence of God and It affected her mentally and emotionally. As a result of that act, every woman born into this life is affected without having to do anything that’s why it’s called the original sin. We lost our self-image to sin and took over flesh. We lost our God centered image and took on self-centered image, the flesh. 2 Corinthians 11:3 “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from simplicity that is in Christ.” So, the battle is all in our minds.
A woman suffers from emotional pain more than a Man because of the curse. Your Self-portrait is your mental picture or image of yourself, it is deadly, never forget this, you will always act like the person you think or believe you are. How do you see you? Because the way you see yourself is as valuable as the way you see God. God made you in his Image and likeness.
Most women have been affected from past pain and experiences that have formed their self-portraits and influenced their way of lives. Proverbs 23:7 ” for as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” You are your thoughts be it negative or positive. Your Self-portrait builds your self-confidence and self-esteem.
To a woman, self-esteem and personal worth is her greatest NEED. If a woman has a negative self-image, it will greatly affect her self-esteem and the only cure for it is JESUS and the right perspective of God.
What is self-portrait God’s way? Having the right biblical self-concept. Thinking according to the light of the scriptures about ourselves by the grace of God. More so God’s way is God’s wisdom, and the Bible says wisdom is the principal thing.
A strong house is built on wisdom and our lives is a house of the most-high God. The Bible says our bodies are the temple of God. You can build your house (life) on the word of God or on anything else but if it is not on the word of God, you labor in vain. Unless the Lord builds a house, the builder labors in vain. So, unless God builds our lives, we labor in vain building it our way.
There are two types of self-portraits.
- The Worlds self-portrait which is self-centered – flesh
- The Word of Gods self-portrait which is to love and value your divine difference.
Rom 12:2 The NLT says “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world,but let God transform you, into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know Gods will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
God is the source capable of changing your self-image. In Genesis, God made man in his image and likeness, and we are like God. Every manufacturer has spare parts for his products to change or replace in case of damage. So, God through his precious son’s blood has the power to change our damaged self-image. And every human, has been damaged somewhere because the world is full of the habitation of cruelty.
How does the enemy have access to our lives? Through our minds 2 Corinthians 4:4 says, “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the Image of God should shine unto them.” Once you capture a man’s mind you have captured his life.
Even your faith in God has to do with believing which is a function of our thoughts and mind. God is big on believing him. His greatest pleasure is to be believed and his worst pain is to be doubted. God considers doubt to be a sin, while believing is righteous. With the ministry of the holy ghost, he is the only person who change the human spirit to be more like Jesus. He is capable and authorized to teach us the right thoughts and help us change our self-image Gods way.
2 Corinthians 3:18 “… we all with open face be holding as in a glass the glory of the lord are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Romans 12:2 AMP “And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].“ Renewing your mind is not a onetime event, it’s a life time process .
There are two parts of the brain: our memory and imagination. Our memory replays past experiences, while our imagination pre-plays future experiences. Most of us rely only on our memory, which replays past experiences mostly the negative ones, and that has hindered us from having the right imaginations, on how we want or envision our future.
Finally, Self-image is often self-imagination because if you do not have the right imagination of God, you cannot have the right thoughts about God.
Ephesians4:22-24 “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. “Ephesians
So, I encourage you to put off the old man so you can put on the new man.
